AlphaSense Raises $150 Million at $2.5 Billion Valuation

AlphaSense is the leading market intelligence platform, in which AI-based technology assists professionals in the business decision-making process by delivering insights from a universe of private and public content. The specifically designed AI is used for understanding and sorting business information, providing information in a way that expedites investment and market research. In June 2022, AlphaSense joined the unicorn club.

AlphaSense has raised $150 million in a Series E round led by Bond Capital with participation from from CapitalG (Alphabet’s fund focused on larger investments), Viking Global Investors, Goldman Sachs, and new backer BAM Elevate.  The new round brings AlphaSense’s valuation to $2.5 billion.

AlphaSense, New York, United States, was founded in 2011 by Raj Neervannan and Jack Kokko. AlphaSense’s CEO Jack Kokko noted that the company is currently directing their resources towards new initiatives particularly in the realm of generative AI because they explore expanding their product offerings.
