Sierra Space raised $290 million in a Series B funding round, which has brought the company’s valuation to $5.3 billion. The equity raise of $290 million was led by Japanese investors MUFG, Kanematsu, and Tokio Marine, with significant participation from prior investors and insiders.
Sierra Space, Louisville, Colorado, United States, was founded in 2021 by Eren Ozmen and Fatih Ozmen. “Sierra Space is excited to create a long-term strategic relationship with our Japanese investors and industry partners,” CEO Tom Vice said in a statement.
