Igloo Raises $36 Million

Igloo is an insurtech AI company that streamlines the insurance process and delivers personalized solutions to its customers. Igloo offers a simple and intuitive online platform for customers to manage their policies, file claims, and communicate with the company.

Igloo has raised $36 million in a pre-Series C funding round with asset manager Eurazeo’s insurtech fund leading the round. Existing investors Openspace Ventures and La Maison also participated in the new round. Igloo’s post-money valuation remained at $210 million in the last quarter of 2022. The startup claims its pre-Series C valuation has increased by 50% compared to the previous valuation. “The insurance market in South-East Asia is still very underpenetrated and we believe Igloo is in a strong position to help solve this by making insurance more easily accessible and understandable for consumers,” said Albert Shyy, managing director at Eurazeo.

Igloo, Singapore, Central Region, Singapore, was founded in 2016 by Raunak Mehta and Wei Zhu. By leveraging advanced technology, automation, and data analytics, Igloo is reshaping the insurance landscape, making it more customer-friendly, efficient, and accessible.
