VAST Data in Talks to Raise Funding at a $30 Billion Valuation

VAST Data is a technology company helping organizations build and scale intelligent applications by bringing together compute, data management, and high-performance storage under one platform. Its software is built to handle the growing demands of AI and deep learning, and it’s quickly becoming a go-to solution for managing massive amounts of unstructured data.

The company is reportedly in talks to raise new funding led by Alphabet’s CapitalG and Nvidia, which could value the company at $30 billion.

VAST data, headquartered in New York, United States, was founded in 2016 by Alon Horev, Jeff Denworth, Mohd Fairuz Razi bin Sharuddin, Renen Hallak, and Shachar Fienblit. In 2020, the company joined the unicorn club. It has expanded quickly as demand for AI infrastructure has taken off, and it’s aiming to become a go-to choice for organizations building data-heavy applications.
