Lassie Raises $25 Million

Lassie is a pet health app and insurance provider that is quickly becoming the go-to choice for pet owners. The company has developed an app that allows pet owners to seamlessly manage their pet’s health, from scheduling vet appointments to tracking medication and vaccinations. Beyond the convenience of their app, Lassie provides comprehensive insurance plans that offer financial support for unexpected veterinary expenses. 

Lassie has raised $25 million in a Series B funding led by Balderton Capital. Previous investors including Felix Capital, Inventure, Passion Capital and Philian (H&M chair Karl-Johan Persson) also participated in the new round. The fresh funding will be utilized to grow Lassie’s team and enhance their products, including the sale of health products for pets within their app. Additionally, the company intends to expand their operations beyond their current locations in Germany and Sweden.

Lassie, Stockholm, Stockholms Lan, Sweden, was founded in 2020 by Sophie Wilkinson and Johan Jönsson. By promoting preventive care, Lassie aims to help pets live longer, healthier lives while reducing the chances of serious health complications down the road.
