May Mobility Raises $105 Million

May Mobility is an autonomous vehicle technology company that offers safer, more efficient, and sustainable mobility solutions. By promoting shared mobility and reducing the reliance on individual car ownership, May Mobility’s autonomous shuttles contribute to decreased emissions, cleaner air, and improved quality of life in urban areas.

May Mobility has raised $105 million in a Series D round. The new round was led by NTT Group. Moreover, it is joined by new and existing investors including Toyota Ventures, Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance Company, State Farm Ventures, BMW i Ventures, Cyrus Capital, and Trucks Venture Capital. May Mobility intends to leverage the fresh funding to accelerate the advancement and commercialization of its AV technology and services in the United States, Canada, and Japan. The funding will also support the expansion of operations and pave a path for the company to achieve profitability.

May Mobility, Ann Arbor, Michigan, United States, was founded in 2017 by Alisyn Malek, Edwin Olson, and Steve Vozar. “Our success in this fundraising is a strong validation of May’s proven business model. It provides the fuel and momentum to realize our next phase of growth,” said Edwin Olson, CEO and co-founder of May Mobility. “Our approach has been to work with best-in-class partners to bring our technology and services to market. Thrilled to collaborate with NTT, a top multinational technology company, we are expanding our operations jointly in Japan.”
