Sugar Looks to Raise $100 Million at $700-800 Million Valuation

The brand has a wide range of shades for its makeup products, catering to various skin tones and undertones. Sugar Cosmetics has been scaling in the competitive D2C beauty market through its strong brand image, focus on quality and affordability, and innovative marketing strategies.

Sugar Cosmetics is looking to raise $100 million in a new funding round that will value the company at around $700-800 million. The company is currently in talks with sovereign wealth funds and private equity funds to raise the fresh funding. Sugar Cosmetics last raised $50 million in May 2022 in a round led by L Catterton with participation from existing investors such as A91 Partners, Elevation Capital, and India Quotient

Sugar Cosmetics, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, was founded in 2012 by Vineeta Singh and Kaushik Mukherjee. As of now, Sugar Cosmetics is expanding its presence by partnering with 45,000+ retail locations in more than 200 cities across the country.
