Farizon Auto is a vehicle brand that designs clean, new energy commercial vehicles, production, and sales. Farizon has raised $600 million in a Series-A funding round. The company intends to use the fresh funding to expand its operations outside of China and to further its technology and product development. Farizon plans to introduce its light electric cargo van, the Super Van, to the European market as early as 2024.
Farizon, Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China, was founded in 2014. On April 26, 2019, Farizon Auto launched the world’s first M100 methanol fuel heavy truck. The company sold roughly 37,800 light commercial vehicles in China in 2022 and plans to sell 150,000 vehicles this year.
