eFishery is anIndonesian agritech startup that ensures a fair and sustainable supply chain for fish farmers and enthusiasts. The startup has developed an innovative solution to help fish farmers manage their fish-feeding activities more efficiently. The eFishery system consists of an automated feeder that can be programmed to dispense food at specific intervals. The feeder is connected to a mobile app that allows the fish farmer to monitor the feeding activity and adjust the feeding schedule as needed.
eFishery has raised $108 million in series D funding, which has brought the company’s valuation to $1.3 billion. The new funding round is led by 42xfund and it saw participation from existing investors Northstar Group and SoftBank Vision Fund II. In total, the company has raised $250.9 million till that moment.
eFishery, Bandung, Jawa Barat, Indonesia, was founded in 2013 by Chrisna Aditya, Gibran El Farizy, and Muhammad Ihsan Akhirulsyah. Currently, eFishery has a customer base of approximately 60,000 farmers and an extensive reach encompassing around 280,000 ponds in Indonesia.
