Tonal Systems Inc. Raises $100 Million at $1.9 Billion Valuation

Tonal Systems is a company that offers a connected home fitness system that applies AI, expert coaching, and personalized guidance. With one compact piece of equipment, the system allows people to do every shoulder, arm, leg, back, core, and chest exercise with digital weight created by electromagnetic resistance. After that, the service monitors the quality of every rep, adapts guidance, and measures progress in real-time.

Among Tonal Systems’ investors are L Catterton, Sapphire Sport, Shasta Ventures, Mayfield, Evolution Media, and THVC. The new investors’ list includes Delta-v Capital, the Amazon Alexa Fund, and Mousse Partners. Also, Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors, Paul George of the Los Angeles Clippers, and professional golfer Michelle Wie participated as strategic investors.

Tonal Systems, San Francisco, USA, was founded by Aly Orady in 2015. The company is going to use the new funding for marketing initiatives acceleration, logistics and supply chain scale, and new software-driven product innovations support.
