Klaviyo is an e-commerce marketing automation platform that integrates with other platforms such as Octane AI and Recharge to automate the sending of text messages and emails. With the help of Klaviyo, a business can set up triggers for messages about product recommendations, abandoned carts, etc., leveraging an array of templates and predictive analytics tools.
Klaviyo has received a strategic investment from Shopify. Moreover, Shopify and Klaviyo will strengthen their partnership by Klaviyo the recommended product for Shopify’s premium merchant plan, Shopify Plus, while granting Klaviyo early access to in-development Shopify features.
Klaviyo, Boston, the USA was founded by Andrew Bialecki and Ed Hallen in 2012. As of now, Klaviyo has more than 1000 employees on its team. Klaviyo’s client base consists of over 100 000 paying customers, among them are Dermalogica, Unilever, Citizen Watches, and Solo Stove. New investments from Shopify are planned to be used for broadening the reach of its e-commerce platform. “We’ve been working closely with Shopify for years and this is a great next step.
