Perimeter 81 Raises $100 Million at $1 Billion Valuation

Perimeter 81 is a platform developer that provides companies with secure access to their local networks, cloud infrastructure, and applications. The remote secure network is built on zero trust architecture, developing a security cloud edge and converged networking that is delivered as a SaaS model. The company’s mission is to build up a future with dozens of fragmented security tools merged into one.

The funding round Series C was led by B Capital. Insight Partners, Toba Capital, ION Crossover Ventures, Entrée Capital, and Spring Ventures also took part in the round. With this round, the company achieves unicorn status. The money raised will be used for investments in product development aimed to build up an all-in-one solutions platform for the security of corporate networks.

Perimeter 81, Tel Aviv, Israel, was founded by Sagi Gidali and Amit Bareket in 2018. The company has more than 2400 clients, among which are Fortune 500 companies, as well as businesses from the healthcare, finance, retail, and entertainment industries. Perimeter 81 also has offices in New York and Los Angeles. Perimeter 81 SSE’s platform allows organizations to secure network traffic, endpoint devices, and remote access with cloud-delivered Zero Trust Network Access, Secure Web Gateway, and Firewall as a Service offerings. “With employees working from anywhere and businesses moving to the cloud, we’ve doubled down to build a platform where we’ll allow businesses from any size to build a secure corporate network over the internet without installing any physical infrastructure,” Amit Bareket, CEO and co-founder of Perimeter 81.
