Uniphore Raises $400 Million at $2.5 Billion Valuation

Uniphore is a conversational customer service platform powered by automation technologies and artificial intelligence. The company aims to build up a bridge between machines and people with the help of voice. The company services are used by businesses in sales, HR, education, customer service, etc.

The funding round was led by NEA. Existing investors as well as March Capital also took part in the round. After this, Series E round, Uniphore entered the unicorn club. The company is going to use the money raised to strengthen market and technology leadership by voice AI advancement and operational expansion.

Uniphore, headquartered in California, was founded by Ravi Saraogi, Umesh Sachdev in 2008. As of now, 70% of the money comes from 100 large companies, among them are Priceline and DHL. Uniphore helps enterprises to deliver transformational customer service by offering a variety of tools on its platform. These tools include Conversational Assistant, Conversational Security, and Conversational Analytics. The previous year, Uniphore acquired Emotional Research Lab and Jacada. Besides California, the company also has headquarters in Singapore and India.
