Tripledot is a mobile games maker that develops casual games such as puzzle games and solitaire apps. The game list includes Woodoku, Solitaire, WordHop, PuzzleTime, and many more. The success came mainly due to simply constructed puzzle games.
The funding round Series B was led by 20VC. Access Industries, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and Eldridge also took part in the round. This round follows the Series A round in April. The money raised will be used for fostering the merging and acquisition process.
Tripledot, based in London, was founded by Akin Babayigit, Eyal Chameides, Lior Shiff in 2017. The company focuses on the creation of a new kind of everyday games studio. AS of now, the company has more than 25 million active users per month. Tripledot has 10 titles whose target audience is mainly people over 30. The team has 200 employees in offices located in Barcelona, Saint-Petersburg, and Minsk. “We’ve gotten to the point of having a lot of technology and expertise that we can now leverage, so we want to buy studios, and use our platform to take those great games to reach a much larger audience,” Lior Shiff, CEO and co-founder.
