The funding round Series C was co-led by Stripes, Sapphire Ventures, and Thoma Bravo. Also, participating investors were Workday Ventures, Indeed, Willoughby Capital, Twilio Ventures, Blue Cloud Ventures, Geodesic, Principia Growth, DLA Piper Venture Fund, and Brighton Park Capital. The money raised led the company to the unicorn status.
Paradox, from the USA, was founded by Aaron Matos, Olivia Matos in 2016. The conversational AI chatbot, Olivia, was created and developed for assisting companies in hiring workers. It is not just a chatbot, it is a 24/7 concierge for candidates, that screens their resumes, schedules interviews, answers questions. The company’s mission is to create “the most candidate-centric company on earth”. Among Paradox products are also Virtual Events and Tratify, candidates prioritizing with the fastest, visual-based assessment. Among clients are the restaurant and retail brands, McDonalds, Papa Johns, Speedway; healthcare companies – Renown Health, Covenant Care; financial services brands – Citizens Bank, BOK Financial; and logistics companies – Trimac, Koch, etc.
