Razor Group Raises $125 Million at more than $1 Billion Valuation for E-Commerce Industry

Razor Group is the global aggregator that acquires and scales brands of e-commerce merchants. The company buys Amazon FBA businesses and then takes them to the next development stage. With the help of data analytics, custom-built technology, and finance expertise, Razor Group enables merchants to demonstrate category leadership, product high quality.

In the Series B round Fortress Investment Group, 468 Capital, Victory Park Capital, Presight Capital, Blackrock, Jebsen Capital, Redalpine, and GFC participated. The fundings raised will be used for acquisitions, increasing market presence, hiring new employees.

Razor Group, from Berlin, was founded by Christoph F. Gamon, Jonas Diezun, Oliver Dlugosch, Shrestha Chowdhury, Tushar Ahluwalia in 2020. Now, the company has approximately 300 employees and operates in Berlin, Delhi, Austin, London, Bangalore, and Shenzhen. Razor Group includes more than 80 merchants with 150 brands. Using their platform, the company monitors 1.5 million Amazon merchants and has already detected 80 000 potential targets.
