Factorial raises $80 Million at $530 Million Valuation for Business Software Industry

Factorial is the start-up that assists small and medium-sized businesses in human resource running. The main feature of the platform is that it offers its clients the same tools for performing HR as the big companies use.

The led investor of the new funding round was Tiger Global. Other investors were CRV, Creandum, Point Nine, and K Fund. The previous investment round raised only $16 million at the beginning of 2020. The recent infusion will be used mainly for geographic expansion, especially in Latin America.

Factorial was founded in 2016 in Barcelona by Bernat Farrero, Jordi Romero, Pau Ramon. As of now, the company has 75 000 customers in 65 countries. Factorial provides its customers with such services as hiring, payroll management, performance management, internal communication, etc.
We have a generous definition of small business,” Romero said “But that’s the limit. This is the segment that needs the most help…SMBs want solutions that have as much data as possible in one place.”
