GGV Capital is a venture capital firm that was founded in 2000 by six co-founders. They are Jixun Foo, Jenny Lee, Hans Tung, Glenn Solomon, Eric Xu, and Jeff Richard. The company headquarter is in Menlo Park, California. Also, it has an office in Singapore.

GGV Capital’s investments include seed-to-growth stages in such spheres as Consumer/New Retail, Social/Internet – more than 100 companies, Enterprise/Cloud Tech – approximately 90 companies, Frontier Tech – 35 companies. In total, for more than 20 years, the firm baked approximately 200 companies around the world. Now, 56 companies among them are valued at over $1 billion. Working in partnership with various companies, GGV Capital participates in the creation of transformative social and economic opportunities in emerging markets.

Last year, the firm was a led investor in round Series B for a Boston technology company called Fairmarkit. At that time GGV Capital invested along with Insight Partners, 1984 VC, New Stuck, and New Fund. Among the last investments, in January 2021, four funds were closed raising $2.52 billion. These funds are eight flagship funds, opportunity fund, network fund, and discovery fund.
